How to avoid Create Pick Wave from allocation lot

Summary:

As per business process, 3PL team manages the warehouse and sales order shipping information along with lot details is sent by 3PL. However, when the pick wave is done system is creating lot level allocations/reservations causing mismatch between the 3PL and system causing manual intervention. Is there any standard way to make sure lot is not reserved when Pick release is done.

We are considering a solution by avoiding pick release process before sending data to 3PL. Once the data comes, we'll reserve the lots using Reservations API as per the lots sent and then do the pick release process.
