Blank screen on new self service procurement for some users

Some of our users get a blank screen when trying to access the new responsive self service procurement despite having the role Oracle says on their setup document.

Some of our users when trying to access the responsive self service procurement for the first time, they are prompted to update their preferences (which is ok) then when clicking on "Update" the preferences tab closes and a blank page is shown.
This only happens for some users, but they can access the old version correctly and enter PRs there and have the role oracle identifies on the setup to access the new version.
