Reporting on # Reqs. Opened/Filled in a period

Hi,

I am trying to create a historical report, for which I am trying to show # of reqs opened, filled, and open during that period. I was able to leverage the historial feature that I asked about on the Spotlight call to get the numbers for those reqs that were open during the time period that I designate. What I am having trouble with right now is how to calculate the number of reqs that were opened and the number that were filled during that same period. I might be making it too complicated by having it all in one query but hopefully someone has some insight
