OCI: Oracle Linux Instance Boot Failed with Error "Warning: /dev/mapper/ocivolume-root does not exis

SYMPTOMS
Oracle Linux 8 Instance hosted in OCI fails to boot with error and landing to dracut shell
Warning: /dev/mapper/ocivolume-root does not exist
Warning: /dev/ocivolume does not exist
Warning: /dev/ocivolume/root does not exist
dracut:/#
CHANGES
Issue started after running below command following a file system activity to copy the data to another instance, which changed the default volume group name of root file system from ocivolume to ocivolume1
#vgimportclone /dev/sdb3
CAUSE
Volume group name has been changed from default ocivolume to ocivolume1 following a file system activity to copy the data to another instance
