Using a 3 Wk Avg in a Dashboard

Good morning, I am trying to build a dashboard that includes pretty basic measures, for instance candidate volume, # of rejected and declined candidates and # of hires. Along with the current week data I want to include a 3 week average. Has anyone ever used a 3 week average in a dashboard? If you have and could give me some direction I would really appreciate it.
