Business Case
We have six inventory organizations that can ship customer products. The requirement is that when a sales order is created, the system should first check availability in the shipping warehouse.

  • If the requested quantity is not available in the shipping warehouse but exists in another warehouse among the six, the system should automatically create a Transfer Order to fulfill the demand.
  • If the requested quantity is not available in any of the six warehouses, then the system should trigger a Purchase Requisition from the shipping warehouse.
