Configuration to check duplicate supplier registrations

Summary:
We have received a registration request from one of the subsidiary companies.
However, we are facing a system issue, as it does not allow duplicate registrations based on the Tax Number.
The parent (holding) company is already registered with the same Tax Number, while the current request is for a subsidiary with a different CR number but same TAX number as the parent company?

Could it be possible to adjust the duplication check to be based on the Commercial Registration (CR) Number instead of the Tax Number?
