Security rules not restricting values in Redwood UI segments

In the classic interface, security rules work as expected and restrict the values that a requester is allowed to select (for example, in the Company segment).

In Redwood UI, however, all values are displayed in the segment list regardless of the security rules defined. This means requesters can see values they should not have access to.

Is this expected behavior in Redwood? Is there a way to enforce security rules so that only the allowed values are displayed to the requester?
