Is there an HDL to merge duplicate candidates?

We are able to find duplicate candidates using the Oracle check duplicates functionality. However, I'd like to automate this for things such as same email, same address, etc. Can merge of duplicate candidates be done via HDL? Perhaps it is as simple as keeping one and deleting the previous record, not sure how Oracle works when we actually do the merge candidate functionality.

Perhaps there should be an AI Agent who should do this automatically.
