Oracle Fusion Publisher - How to design a template with merged cells and recurring rows

Hi Community,

I am trying to develop a excel template report for my client with Oracle Fusion Publisher. This report composes of multiple tables with recurring rows at the top and a summary table with merged cells for data visualization.

One of the difficulties that I'm encountering is that once there are data in the recurring rows columns, the format for the summary table with merged cells with shift and change. The only solution that we have figured out is to remove the merge cells but this is not an option for us due to client's requirement. May I please know how can this issue be resolved / or are there suggestions for my scenario?
