When a date/time field is pushed into Taleo via API timestamp, can we capture both?

Summary:

We're pushing various position-specific fields from our HCM to creating new reqs in Taleo. One specific field is a date/time field saved in Taleo as a custom date field. When it is ingested into Taleo, this field only appears as date field. More importantly, in reporting, the field creates a 12:00 time stamp.

The field is being posted to Taleo (from HCM) as a date/time field. Has anyone been able to push date/time when using custom date fields/
