Manager is unable to see newly added direct reports

When a manager change is getting carried in the form of Change Assignment/Promotion/Job Change, etc., the direct employee is not being visible under My Teams of the line manager. However, in the Employment Info page of the direct report, the correct manager is visible. I have run the Refresh Manager Hierarchy as well, but that has not helped. This is impacting business processes.
