How to pull diversity pipeline stats

Hello, everyone. We are being asked to provide diversity metrics for our candidate pools. Up until now, I have been able to run reports based on candidates "presented" (made it to Hiring Manager Review or forward) and then applying a filter to determine number of diversity candidates (the filter reviews the race and ethnicity fields and returns a yes/no response in a column titled "diverse candidate?")
We are now being asked to provide the same totals for our OVERALL candidate pool. Questions:
1) We know the reporting tool will bump up against row limits when pulling entire candidate pool - has anyone come up with a way to pull diversity totals without having to pull individual data rows?
