waybell number is transferred correctly to AR invoice if

Summary:

we setup parent/component relationships a while ago and notice tracking information doesn't pull through to the AR invoice lines. It sounds like this is by design by Oracle and all shipment data is kept on the component item. Is there a way to change this so that shipment details flow through to the parent item as well?

waybell number is transferred correctly to AR invoice if we're using a standalone item "without any relationship with other items".

but if this item has a relationship then the waybell number doesn't getting transferred to AR , why ?
