How to Notify HMRC of PAYE Scheme Cessation via EPS in Oracle Cloud Payroll – Missed in Previous FY
Summary:
In the previous financial year, the PAYE scheme for a client ceased, but the final Employer Payment Summary (EPS) submission with the “Scheme Ceased” indicator was not sent. We now need to inform HMRC retrospectively that the scheme has ceased.
Ceased Scheme Date : 30-Nov-2024
Options Tried:
Option1 : I tried rolling back the EPS sent in Nov'24 and tried sending the EPS again with correct set of the parameters in the current pay period i.e., Sep'25. It does not allow and comes up with below error:
You must enter a Date Scheme Ceased value that's between the start date and end date of the current Tax year.
