Inactive resource Instance should not be used while creating maintenance work order

Summary:

If we add inactive on date to a resource instance , which means that resource instance becomes inactive but when we create maintenance work order , click on create operations tab and add resource and resource instance , that inactive resource instance is also visible in LOV and when you select that inactive resource instance it get added even though it is inactive.

Question - How can we restrict inactive resource instance not to be used while creating work order .

Inactive resource instance should not even be visible in LOV
