using substitution variable in source filter of EPM cloud outbound integration not working

Summary:

I have an integration. EPCM as source and EPBCS as target and used Current Year substitution variable as a source filter. It is not working as expected. if I pass the member name as plain text it is good. My expectation it should work as substitution varible is the key in controlling the month end process.
