Is there a maximum number of conditions that can be expressed in a dynamic calculation?

When configuring a dynamic calculation, is there a maximum number of conditions that can be sequenced?

We need to extrapolate component parts of our job codes to display job family, job function and career band in 3 separate columns. As the proposed job (or proposed job code) can be changed on the worksheet by the manager, we can't use a FF to get the separate parts. So, I was thinking I could create dynamic calcs to get the data (eg, 'if proposed job contains "Accounting", show "Finance" etc). I'm probably going to need to have 150-200 conditions which will be a pain to set up and administer but it's the only way I
