GL Balance Detail on Accounts with Summary Flag Enabled

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):We'd like to pull aggregated balance details on summary accounts using the GL_BALANCES table. We're able to query the bottom level account nodes when connecting to GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS but cannot ascertain aggregated values similar to how one can query aggregate totals at the parent level from a Smart View Essbase POV.

We've also tried connecting to some of the FND_FLEX tables to pull the segment value but that didn't seem to work either.

Does anyone know if its possible to pull data from GL_BALANCES on summary accounts or another table that would allow this?
