Redwood My Team > Request new position page is not working for the line managers
Summary:
Following our migration to Redwood, we have encountered a persistent “spinning wheel of death” issue on the Request New Position page, specifically within the Position Details section. This issue is occurring only for Line Managers when accessing the page via My Team > Request New Position.
To address this, we created a custom job role with the following data security profile and roles. This custom job role was assigned to the Line Manager. The new role successfully resolved the spinning issue, and Line Managers were able to access the page without errors.
However, this workaround introduced a new challenge, the custom job role now allows Line Managers to view all position values, rather than being restricted to the positions they are authorized to view.
