Another way to have demand for dependent demand without having forecast for the independent item

Hi experts,

We implement supply and demand planning and process manufacturing.

The forecast generated through demand planning using end item forecast (shipment history using FBDI file). Meanwhile the end item manufactured are always unique so it couldn't generated good forecast for 1-3 years of history and it's had to keep track of the item since there are thousands item structures needed to be input and each of them are different. Hence, We wanted to have the dependent demand (raw materials) to be the input for our forecast > the supply planning will calculate the demand of the raw materials.

Does anyone knows how can we achieve this ?
