VBS Express Mode Rules Not Working on Redwood Add Absence Page for MAP Pattern Code

We are encountering an issue on the Redwood Add Absence page where VBS Express Mode rules driven by the Absence Pattern Code (MAP) are not working as expected.

Rules configured in Visual Builder – Express Mode (Show/Hide, Required, Default Value, Filter Values) are saving and publishing successfully. However, at runtime, the corresponding fields and Descriptive Flex fields (DFFs) do not display or behave according to the configured logic.

The rules are specifically tied to Pattern Code = MAP (used for Childbirth or Placement absences). Despite correct setup, conditions based on Pattern Code are being ignored in the Redwood/VBS runtime, resulting in DFFs remaining visible or unresponsive when they should be dynamically controlled.

Howdy, Stranger!
