Termination report - effective date issue

Hello,
We're using agent to deliver terminate report daily regarding new terminations initiated per day. for other reports there is no problem ( new hire and change employment) we use the filter 'assignment creation date' >= CURRENT_DATE and the results show only transactions initiated today (including futures).
But this field is not working in 'work relationship' area, and the only option we could find is to use the below filter (copied screenshot) :
but then the results each day are repeated with the employees future term dates until current date=term date. please share your ideas resolve this issue.. thank you!!!
