Filter OTBI prompts to only certain criteria

I created a Dashboard for our Learning team, which includes a Course tab, as well as a Specialization tab. The analyses used in each tab filter for the appropriate Learning Item Type so only courses or specializations will be presented. The business is now asking that the courses be removed from the prompt dropdown of the specialization tab and vice versa. I know there is the 'Limit values by' option under the prompt, but it looks like I'd need to type in all the options I'd want available, but that's not feasible with thousands of courses.

Is there a way to 'filter' the options in an OTBI prompt based off of say a column? Or any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
