How to Fetch the next immediate position

Summary:

Hi Everyone,

Our customer is using Position Management.

In the worksheet(Compensation Module), there is Current Position and Proposed Position column. We are required to auto populate next immediate position as proposed position.

Position A

Position B

Position C

Position D …..Etc, etc

If the Employee's current position is Position A, then next immediate position is Position B. It has to auto populate. Is this Possible?

If yes, how to achieve? We are aware we need to use the FF. I am seeking the Logic or field in the position that is used to derive this logic.
