Career Section Job lists - not 'live' until page is refreshed (descend order date not working)

Has anyone else come across an issue on their career pages regarding the page not being 'current' until the candidate refreshes (i.e. clicks over to second page and back to first)? I've determined that this is something in relation to the sort option, but I'm not sure how- we have ours set to descending order, but most pages i go to (we have links for 'all jobs' as well as some pre-set filter options specific to specialty) our jobs are not listed in descending order until i move to the second page and back to the first. i've been working
