Sales Order line reservation based on the customer requested date or schedule ship date

Scenario 1:

Sales Order line reservation based on the customer requested date or schedule ship date. We are having currently non B2B scenario for all our orders. For SO lines where stock is not available the line goes to reservation error and once stock is available "Recover Error" program is reserving the material.

The challenge is we want program to reserve on-hand based on customer requested date or schedule ship date. Currently the program is assigning randonly to any line and not even based on the creation date. Can someone help if "Recover Error" program can reserve based on customer requested date or schedule ship date.
