Properties created outside of Application Registration in Universal application

Summary:

In the case of a Universal application, if we create a property outside of the Application Registration and then assign it to the required node type, is it necessary to add that property later to the node type through Modify Registration as well? I don’t require that property to be exported since we are using extracts. I wanted to understand if there would be any impact during template migration from a lower environment to Production, or if there is anything else I need to consider that could be impacted by not adding the property through Modify Registration.
