Mapping primary ledger to a new COA secondary

Summary:

We have been working on setting up a secondary ledger for Brazil and I have mapped all the new (Secondary Ledger) COA to the old (primary ledger) COA. We are able to post journals on the secondary ledger but when we try to post journals from the primary ledger, we are getting this error "You can't enter an account with a parent segment value". I have verified that all segments used are the children and the mapping segments are all children. The other strange thing is if I go to manage account combinations and create the segment
