Expense project code field in expense report is showing inactive projects when raising a claim

Expense project code field in expense report is showing inactive projects when raising a claim and allowing it to select and submit the expense report which later fails in create accounting, is there any possibility to not show inactive projects in the LOV of expense project code? so that it helps in month end to avoid these errors
