How to increase the Test Character in Flexfield value set

Summary:

We have a requirement to capture Shipping instruction in Customer Account DFF which has more than 150 characters.

Whereas in the Valueset for the data type character the maximum character allowed is only 150 ,is there any way to have enter 1000 characters
