Ability to Receive out of sequence Serial number using Receipt functionality

Summary:

Currently, the Receipt functionality in Oracle Inventory or Receiving expects serial numbers to be entered in a sequential order when receiving serialized items. However, in real-world scenarios, suppliers often ship serialized items in a random or non-sequential order. For example, if the item is serialized from 1001 to 1010, the shipment may include serials like 1003, 1007, and 1010 first, followed by others later.

Business Need:

We require the ability to receive serialized items even if the serial numbers are not in sequence. The system should allow users to:

• Enter and receive any valid serial number for the item, regardless of its position in the sequence.
