Individual Compensation transaction issue for Inactive Employees
Hi Team,
Please check the below criteria and suggest if you have any other alternative solution other than making the Employee from Inactive to Active (Reverse Termination) ?
- We have an Inactive Employee with Termination Date "11/14/2025".
- But, Employee's Individual Compensation (Severance) Transaction is still in-pending and yet to approved.
(Severance start date is "11/17/2025") - While HR is trying to approve the Severance transaction, it is ending up with error "The Severance element definition determines how long an element can be used.
You entered a start date after the final processing date 11/15/25 12:00 AM for the element on this payroll relationship, employment terms, or assignment", due to Employee's Last standard Processing Date is updated to "11/15/2025" after Termination as per the Term & pay period dates.
