Need Ability to Transfer or Escalate Offboarding Journey Tasks if Performer Does Not Act

In Oracle Fusion HCM (Journeys / Offboarding Experience), offboarding tasks are assigned to specific performers, such as HR specialists, IT, security, access management, or the line manager. Currently:

Once a task is assigned to a performer,

The task remains with that performer until they manually complete it.

There is no delivered mechanism to automatically transfer the task or escalate responsibility if the performer does not take action within a designated timeframe.

The client requires an automated escalation mechanism for Offboarding Journeys to ensure timely completion of critical exit activities, including clearance, asset return, account disabling, and documentation.
