Delete account ( organization name ) from cx effect on customers at finance module
I would like to inquire about the current behavior related to deleting customers (Organization Records) in Oracle Fusion.
Based on my research—including the Oracle Support document KB72026—customer accounts cannot be permanently deleted and can only be ended using a Termination Date.
However, we are observing unexpected behavior in our environment:
When we delete an Account from CX, the same customer record is also deleted from the Manage Customers screen in the Finance module.
I also tested deleting an account (Organization Name) that has existing Sites and Invoices, and the system still allowed the deletion in CX. Surprisingly, the record was also removed from Finance, even though invoices are already created.
