Timecard status lagging, not showing Approved

Timecard status is lagging and not updating when the timecard is approved

When timcards are submitted and approved, there is sometimes significant lag before the page actually updates and shows the timecard as approved.
Users have refreshed the Team Time Cards page, rebooted PC, etc., but the timecard still shows status of Submitted. When opening the timecard, it says Approved. But when exiting the timecard, it says it is Submitted. Even the Transaction Console shows it is Approved.
Is anyone else experiencing these sorts of challenges where the Team Time Cards page is not up to date?
