Hiding Obsolete or Inactive Trading Partner Items and Relationships from UI

How can we hide trading partner item relationships and trading partner items from the UI when their status is set to Obsolete or Inactive?

We are currently end-dating both the trading partner item relationship and the trading partner item, assigning the status "Obsolete" to the Trading Partner Item Relationship and "Inactive" to the Trading Partner Item (Competitor). Despite these updates, both still appear in the UI.

Our goal is to make them invisible on the UI if possible.

Could you provide any guidance or information on how to achieve this?
