Extension that automatically populates the sales channel in OM based on the customer profile class

Extension Objective

An extension was developed for Oracle OM with the purpose of automatically populating the sales channel in the sales order based on the profile class configured at the customer site level (Customer Site Profile Class). The goal is to eliminate manual mappings and ensure that each order correctly inherits the corresponding sales channel from its creation and throughout its processing.

Expected Behavior

When an order is created and saved, the extension should:

• Read the profile class configured at the Customer Site level (Bill to).
• Determine the corresponding sales channel value based on that profile class.
• Automatically populate this value in the sales order.
