Can we revert back Shipment header status from Manifested to Open ?

QUESTION: Once the shipment header status is set to "Manifested," is there any way to revert it back to "Open"? Specifically, is there an API or any available method to support this?

Here's the reason for my question:

  • A sales order (SO) is created, then pick released and packed.
  • When we use Actions > Send Manifest Request, the shipment header status changes from "Open" to "Manifested."
  • There is also a "Cancel Manifest Request" function. When this is triggered, I notice that an event is raised in OIC, but there is no change to the shipment header or line status in the ERP.
