Posting Description: “+” Character Automatically Encodes to + in ORC

Summary:

Hi everyone,

We’re encountering an issue in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) where entering a plus sign (“+”) into the Posting Description causes it to be converted into the HTML entity + after saving the requisition.

Example:

• What we type:
  5+ years of experience in Data..
• What Description for Internal Candidates field saves and displays (actual output):
  5+ years of experience…

This is happening in both the internal and external Posting Description fields. It is not limited to the editor. ORC is storing the encoded value and displaying it directly in the posted job description.
