When can we expect an updated Outlook plugin compatible with the newest version?

The currently supported versions of Microsoft Outlook include: Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, or Office 365. However, the new Outlook version is not supported. We have users migrating to the new version. All users will be required to move to the new version soon, so a new plugin must be developed before then.

Migration timeline

  • October 2024: Personal Microsoft accounts (like Outlook.com and Hotmail.com) began to be automatically switched to the new Outlook.
  • January 6, 2025: Automatic migration begins for users with Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Premium licenses.
  • April 1, 2026: Automatic migration begins for users with Microsoft 365 Enterprise licenses.
  • Future "Cutover" phase: At a later, unannounced date, the option to switch back will be retired for most users.
