How to end date a Grade Ladder and the grade steps contained on it?

Summary: We have a Grade Ladder that is no longer in use and would like to end date both it and the steps that are included in it. Is this possible as there doesn't seem to be a way of adding an end date? There are no live employees on this grade ladder or positions linked to it. We need the historical data to remain on the system in case of any future queries/issues?
