What will happen in Eloqua after merging contacts in sales cloud by CDM?

 i have a case ,,,we have integration between Eloqua And Oracle sales cloud and by this integration many contacts that are already duplicated in sales cloud came to Eloqua also duplicated. now the Sales team will use CDM to make merge between duplicated contacts say that we have 3 records (1-2-3) we will merge them and make 3 the main one …….what will happen to the same records in Eloqua.
