Career Section Errors - Source Tracking Field

We are on Taleo 7.5 SP13c, and have had several instances lately were candidates that are applying on our external career section are completing our Source Type and Source fields, but when they try to save and continue, receive an error message indicating that they need to complete these fields.  They get stuck in a loop and can't go any further.

We thought it might be related to the browser/operating system compatability but have not been able to confirm that.

Has anybody else had similar issues, and if so, what was the cause and resolution?
