Can't update BI Publisher email from address

Hi,
I need to change the email address for incoming emails from BI Publisher. I followed the steps found in this document: https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=2714503&page=sptemplate&sptemplate=km-article but the sender address is still bip-collections@oracle .com.
How can I make the change take effect? ​​I found in the same documentation that as a workaround, I would need to update the server, but how?
