Is possible to show increment percentage for components to employees ?

Our Salary basis is based on the following components

  1. Base Salary
  2. Housing Allowance
  3. Transport Allowance
  4. Mobile Allowance

All adds up to "Gross Salary"

Whenever there is salary increment, HR had practice of increasing it in the base salary.

However Oracle product shows the salary increment on gross salary and not on the base salary. So it is confusing the employees.

E.g. My salary is INR 10000 (Base salary- 70000, Housing Allowance - 10000, Transport Allowance - 10000 & Mobile Allowance - 10000)

If I get hike of 3%, then my new salary would be (72100+3000)=102100 = 2.1% hike on Gross.

So Oracle shows hike of 2.1% in My Compensation.
