Retainage Purchase Orders

Summary: We are about to roll forward our purchase orders. We have retainage purchase orders. As part of this process, we will have to do change orders to add the new contract number to the purchase orders. We have different contracts, which represent our internal funds, each year. We are calendar year end. Am I able to update the contract number via change order on this retainage PO?
