Is there a simple way to limit an element to a maximum amount?

Sorry for lack of details. But this is an urgent issue. We have identified an issue with an element that has exceeded the maximum value. We tried to create a deduction card group, a type of object group. We were hoping to add all person numbers who we would need to exclude these persons from calculating that specific element. However, we do not see where to add that type of object group to a flow pattern. So that does not appear to be an option.

Alternatively, is there a way to limit the max amount earned by element?
