Supplier and Buyer not retained when adding a new line

When using Enter Requisition Line, adding a new line does not retain the Supplier and Buyer from the previous line.
This behavior is different from Indirect Requisition by Category, where these values are carried over.

Is this expected behavior?
If not, is there a way to have Supplier and Buyer default from the previous line when adding a new requisition line?
