Terminated employee is ineligible after start process in Worksheet

Summary:

Hi!

We want to include recently terminated employees on worksheet. when we run the start process the terminated employee is marked as ineligible with "Worker's assignment status is invalid" as reason.

Emp Term Date: 2/14/25. Plan start date: 1/1/25

HR extraction Date: 1/1/26

Eligibility Date: 12/31/25

Eligibility profile: Include assignment status = Inactive PE; Include

Include recently terminated workers on start process: checked

we are expecting this employee to be on the worksheet on start process since Plan Start date < Term date < HR extraction date. but its coming as ineligible. but its not

Where as when we ran the Refresh process with "Refresh terminated worker data using process date" option selected this employee is coming out as eligible. there are no further assignments after the terminations.
